Nigeria lost this evening with 3 goals to Argentina. Despite their loss, they came second in group F as the match ended 3-2, and are therefore advancing to the knock out stage along side group F winner Argentina. Nigeria finished with a total of 4 points, Argentina finished with a total of 9 points making them the group leaders ahead of Bosnia and Iran. Lionel Messi scored 2 goals in today's match and Rajo scored the third goal to give Argentina the lead. Ahmed Musa scored the 2 goals that made Nigerians happy today. A big kudos goes to the Nigerian keeper, Vincent Enyeama who despite the fact that he conceeded three goals was still able to punch out some shots and magnetically catch some shots, he had a lot of saves added to his career today, a big thank you to the Number 1 jersey man.
As Nigeria and Argentina advances to the knock out stage, Nigeria will face Netherlands in the knock out stage and Aegentina will face Spain.
