The 2014 edition of Nigeria’s biggest music awards ,The Headies is set to hold in Lagos on Saturday, October 25, 2014 at the Landmark Event Centre at Lekki, Lagos. Since the inception of the awards in 2006, organizers of the awards have ensured that the venue reflects the class associated with the award, with the debut edition holding at the Shell Hall of Muson Centre back then. Away from the venue, another integral part of the award are the hosts, usually personalities who are very well known and in demand. For this year, popular comedian Bovi and on-air personality, Toke Makinwa, have been unveiled as the hosts of the Headies. Last year, the duo of Mavin Records acts, Dr Sid and Tiwa Savage hosted the awards.
